Bobbie Lee Design provides both in person services for the Winnipeg area and ‘EDesign’ online services for clients around the world. If you wish for the Bobbie Lee Design team to visit your project outside of Winnipeg, please contact us to discuss arrangements.
Predesign: As the first step in the design process you will be given a questionnaire to fill out that gives us incite to your design taste, needs, and desires for the project. A consultation will then be arranged to go over the answers and other pertinent elements of the project. Depending on the type of project or package chosen, the initial budget, opportunities and strengths of the project will be discussed.
Schematic Design: With the information gathered from the questionnaire and consultation, our design team begins working on a tailored design for you. This starts off with sketching and brainstorming that ultimately leads to the creation of mood boards, drawings, renders or other options to visualize the project space. In some cases our design team will ask for interior or exterior photos of your project, and if you have any existing plans or blueprints to aid in the design of the space. Through this phase we will be in contact with you to update you on the process and ensure that you are happy with the direction of the design.
Final Design: After discussions and revisions on the project, the final design will be given to you along with a tailored list of instructions of how to execute the project as intended. If the project is worked on in-person then Bobbie Lee will meet with you to go over the details and help with the coordination and execution of the design.
Additional Services: For all our projects we can assist with the ordering or commissioning of furniture, art or other designed products. We can provide mood boards and renderings for visualization of the project. We also have in-house experience in architecture and construction to help with the varying complexities of any given project.
As the interior designers, we will organize all facets of your project that need to be looked after and can work as your prime consultant. As colour specialists we will help you pick the right colour for your space by testing colour samples on your walls and comparing them to the other parts of your home/office. We offer weekly committed conversations so you are involved and apart of the design conversation every step of the way. Depending on the scope of your project and size of your budget, we will create a price estimate for you that appropriately meets the needs of the project. We work one on one with each of our clients to understand their unique needs and together create a plan to fully embody their spaces. As the project moves forward, we have satisfactory checkpoints to engage with our clients and redirect if needed.
